Some users in the initial batch of Voron 2.4 and Voron Trident Rev. D kits may have received endstop cables with the wrong pin connections. Connecting these incorrect cables to the Leviathan board will not damage the board, but X and Y endstops will not be working. Users who have received these incorrect cables can follow this guide to reconnect the pins.
The first thing you need to do before you start wiring is identify whether the XY endstop cables you receive are incorrect.
A tweezer is recommended to depin the wires in this guide. If you don't have a tweezer, you can use the slot head screwdriver we have provided in the kit.
Let's start with the X endstop cable. We will need to remove the wire from position #3 (shown in the image below), the wire in position #1 does not need to be pulled out.
Before reinserting the wire, we need to restore the retention tab to its original state. Use the tweezer to slightly bend the tab up, as shown in the right image.
Insert the wire into pin 2. Note the orientation of the retention tab. After insertion, check the security of the pin by lightly pulling on the wire. The retention tab should prevent the wire from being pulled out. If not, repeat the previous step.
We now need to repin Y endstop cable. Using the same method as the X endstop cable, remove the wire from pin 2 and insert it into pin 3.
Finally, we recommend using a multimeter to check the continuity according to following diagram:
