The Base Kit includes the core components required to convert a Voron 2.4 into a toolchanging system. Key components of this kit include:
The CNC Shuttle is a precision-machined version of the StealthChanger shuttle. This part replaces the standard X-carriage printed part on the Voron 2.4 and serves as the backbone of the toolchanging mechanism.
Nitehawk Hexa is a 6+1 port USB adapter that allows the user to effortlessly wire 6 USB toolheads in a single printer. Traditionally, connecting multiple USB toolboards required a combination of power splitters, USB hubs, and individual USB adapter boards. The Hexa consolidates all of that into a single, plug-and-play board.
The Sexball probe (based on Hartk's original Sexbolt mod) is a special probe that enables automatic offset calibration between the toolheads. This probe helps to accurately measure the X, Y, and Z offsets of each tool, ensuring consistent nozzle positioning during tool changes.
A power supply is not provided in this kit. The addition of multiple toolheads increases overall power consumption: you may need to upgrade to a higher-capacity power supply depending on your configuration.
The Tool & Dock kit contains many essential parts to build the toolhead and docking system for the Stealthchanger system. Due to the huge list (and growing) of toolheads that are compatible with Stealthchanger, this kit only contains essential components. You may need to purchase extra parts outside of this kit to complete your toolhead of choice. Key components of this kit include:
Backplate Pins included in the kit are installed in printed backplates, which install on the backs of toolheads and interface with the CNC Shuttle. Two types are included: 4x12 and 4x13. These two types of pins can be mixed and matched and allow users to tweak the fitment between the backplate and shuttle.
Fasteners and Hardware, a wide variety of fasteners and hardware (including magnets) are included for the Docking system and various toolheads.
Nitehawk-36 toolboard, contained in this kit is a custom edition Nitehawk-36 kit which omits the USB Adapter PCB (Nitehawk Hexa is used in its place) and has a shorter length umbilical cable.
Fans, a 2510 axial fan and two high performance 4010 blower fans are included. This fan combination is ideal for toolheads such as Anthead, Yavoth, and Xol.
OptoTap PCB, is included along with necessary cables. This is required for the integrated tap functionality of the Stealthchanger system.
RGB, two types of RGB leds are included: the traditional 9x9 RGBW Mini Button PCB (used in Stealthburners, Dragonburner, Yavoth, Anthead, etc. ) and Sequin style RGB (used in Xol)
Custom Spring Steel Blocker, custom silicone overmoled spring steel blockers are included. This replaces the original Stealthchanger blocker that required messy manual silicon RTV molding.
Cable Management, A number of parts included are used for cable management, including bowden tubing, cable glands (M12 strain relief type), and spring steel backers designed to work with N3MI-DG's backplate mod (highly recommended for managing the umbilical cables).
Parts in this kit builds a single toolhead and dock, multiple kits can be purchased depending on the number of toolheads needed. Extruders & hotends are not included in the kit to allow users to choose their own preferred extruder and hotend combo.
Tophat & Doorbuffer Kit, this sub-kit contains parts to build the Tophat, Cross-beam (with or without the doorbuffer). The Stealthchanger Tophat is an extrusion frame tophat that is recommended for increasing the height of the printer. The extra overhead provides extra space for parked toolhead umbilicals. The Cross-beam is an extrusion beam that can be used to rigidly hold the toolhead docks. Key components of this kit include:
Extrusions, for the Tophat and cross-beam.
Fasteners and hardware, for the Tophat and Doorbuffer.
Panels, for the sides of the tophat (reuse your current top panel)
The Frame kit currently comes in two sizes: 300 and 350, corresponding to their respective Voron 2.4 printer sizes.
